1986: A new company is born
Director Julien Bach set up Clean Interiors in 1986 as an end-of-tenancy flat clearing company.
Moving swiftly from a humble spare bedroom to a Balham shop, the company soon expanded into a commercial cleaning service winning BS5750 quality assurance.
1998: Developing Excellence
Under the new management team of Julien Bach and Julia Kulinski, the company, now CI Business Services Ltd, expanded further and achieved ISO 9002 new Quality Assurance standard. Our expertise and commitment to high standards attracted high-profile clients like Capita Group Plc and Hertz UK Ltd.
2004: New services for a new era
We introduced our pest control, office plants and washroom services in 2004. This led to a company wide restructuring and a new era for CIBS - two distinct divisions were set up cibsfacilities.com for cleaning pest control and office plants and cibshygiene.com for washroom services.
New services meant new organisational challenges. CIBS invested in cutting-edge business processing and timekeeping software to boost its level of service.
2005: Achievement and Recognition
Almost immediately, the new initiative paid off. 2005 saw cibsfacilities.com gain a £50,000 per year pest control contract, and company director Julien Bach was nominated for an employer of the year award by Shell Technologies Enterprise Programme.
2007: Awards are testament to our service
Our outstanding customer service and commitment to our staff saw us win a Kimberly-Clark Golden Service award and gaining Investor in People accreditation.
Looking ahead: Going green
Along with its ambitious strategies, cibsfacilities.com plans to become an industry leader in environmental responsibility. With low-emission LPG vans, microfibre cleaning technology and e-billing already implemented, we are well on the way to achieving ISO 14001 accreditation for environmental standards.
